What are feeds? (Discussion)

What are feeds? I see “RSS”, “XML”, and “Atom” out there, but I don’t know how I might use these links when I find them.

    Feeds or Web Feed is a data format used for providing users with frequently updated content.

    If you see an orange icon likes the one on our Activity Box, there is a feed for you.

    The best way to use them is to subscribe them in your favorite news reader. As we are in Google community. I would say Google Reader is a really good one.
